An old fishing book, a First Edition, published in 1952 by Herbert Jenkins. Complete with dusty, rubbed and stained original dust jacket - this is Sea Angling - Modern Methods and Tackle, by Alan Young. Book is perfectly legible internally, although inside the hard cover, are water stains, and marks from mould, etc., this item must have been kept in damp conditions (or a keep net!). Dust jacket is unclipped - this book cost 10/6 when new!
Perfectly dry now, and useable, with 192 pages. Chapters include:- Sea-Angling Methods, Tackle, Lures & Baits, Bass, Flounders, Mackerel, Tope, Other Fish, Sea Angler's Encyclopaedia and Where and When to Fish (covering the whole of Britain and Ireland).
