This AMAZINGLY beautiful hand-woven linen roll measures 21.75 yards ( 65.25 feet long) long by 19.7 inches wide~

This is one BEAUTIFUL, VERY high quality, finely woven, heavy weight, hand-woven , Vintage Linen/hemp~**~ Just wonderful!!! A LOVELY pale, natural tone, wonderfully woven and the texture is smooth and beautiful~*~* this Vintage linen roll is wonderfully long ~ perfect for nice large projects! This roll was preserved for us carefully in a dowry chest *~*  ~*~The sound that this linen made when I unrolled it was just LOVELY! it is very floppy, and would hang beautifully~*~* * ~*~* This textile is perfect for  upholstery, Curtains,  pillows, bedding,embroidery, kitchen towels, napkins, clothing, curtains. This roll is in wonderful condition~ unwashed, unused!  Just some light storage dirt marks that will wash~ LOVELY ~*~ Wonderful~~ Easily machine washable, please see instructions~ There are a couple of very small marks on this roll that might not wash fully, they are only very small and very few, and SHOULD wash, however might not wash fully

~*~This wonderful fabric has so many uses:STUNNING table runners~*~Upholstery,  bedding, cushions, curtains,clothing, Roman Blinds, bags, ~ so many wonderful sewing projects~*~ 

 ~*~The woman weavers of yesterday would spend their evenings weaving these amazing rolls of linen. It took the average woman 1 night to weave 60 centimeters ( 24 inches) of linen

 ~*~ These rolls are 100%  machine washable, warm..if there is visible dirt, just add a bit of Oxywash! They are so easy to wash, simply spin dry then remove when wet. Roll the linen tightly and let sit overnight. In the morning unroll and allow to dry naturally~ this presses the linen and there is usually no need to iron ( unless you prefer it perfect). They can be dried in a dryer also! I like to add Downy Ultra to my last rinse cycle for an added touch of softness~  Pure linen or hemp rolls tend to have no shrinkage, the rolls with cotton tend to have some shrinkage  . These rolls are tough and sturdy, built to last.....and last and last!! ~ The average age of these rolls is about 100 years old, they are wonderful textile treasures~*~ Hemp is built to last for many many generations making it a lovely textile for creating family heirlooms~*~

 All of my linen rolls are produced using natural fibers. Natural fibers have the irregularities and subtleties that are inherent ...adding to their rustic charm~*~

I have had many years of research and hands on experience with these wonderful textiles. I describe items as Antique if I estimate the age to be 100 years of age or greater. EBay currently define an antique as dating to 1930 or earlier. I describe items as Vintage, as per the dictionary definition, if I feel the textile has age, or is outdated or old-fashioned, dating from the past. If I use both Antique/Vintage when describing a textile, it is because I feel the textile is most likely 100 years of age or greater, but may fall just short of that date. I often work in collaboration with other colleagues and textile specialists to ascertain the approximate age of my textiles, however ultimately any statement of age is a matter of best judgment only~*~I also use my best professional judgment to ascertain the fiber content of my textiles, using sight and feel and where possible historical information and context to help me to identify plants used in a particular era.
