Vintage book "Calling All Coarse Fishers"

Here we have the perfect book for those of you who spend your spare time sitting on a river bank slinging your hook.

 This book “Calling All Coarse Fishers”  by Alan d’Egville which was first published in 1949 is a bit of a send up although it does have many useful tips such as how to fit your specimen stuffed fish into a display case that’s too small.  How can you live without this kind of information?

The book measures 7 ½ins x 5 ins.  It has 100 pages and as I say is full of useful information, tips and is illustrated with lots of cartoon type drawings. (see other photo for a sample).

You will have to have a sense of humour to own this book, if you haven’t please do not bid for it as to own it may seriously damage your health!
