A Beautiful Vintage Handmade in India (Dressmaker) Evening Dress in excellent condition.  It was my grandmother's.

The outer layer is Black Chiffon Silk embellished with black beading. Lining is Rayon (that dates it!).

The bodice is overlaid with intricate gold beading. The neck area is not lined and has gold bead strings (14cm long)coming down from the neck, matching the ones coming down from the cap sleeves.

The size on the label says 1X which means nothing to me but I would go for size 16 or an ample 14 so please refer to the actual measurements which are:

Armpit to armpit 22" (56cm)

Base of neck to bottom of hem 54" (137cm)

Slit 47cm long from hem on LH front side

Dry clean only

 

The garment is heavy so unfortunately this is reflected in the postage price.

I aim to post within a day of receiving payment and always obtain proof of posting. Extra insurance at buyer's cost.
