I was very lucky to come upon some wonderful rolls of Vintage French Toile de Jouy wallpaper that dates around 1930. This wallpaper is a charming pastoral scene printed in old printing techniques with charming scenes of French country family fun~ feeding chickens, dancing and lovely little children playing~*~* I was very fortunate last summer to be able to visit the Wallpaper Museum in Rixheim, France to learn more about the history of French wallpaper ~*~ I brought photographs of this paper and was told it was a 1930s design~ the writing on the side is " Fabrication S.F. Franceaise" I just adore this lovely roll and the very beautiful Delft blues~ . It would make charming use as wallpaper, box lining paper, paper to line the insides of cabinets, LOVELY for framing, card making and many other crafty projects! ~*~* This roll measures aprox. 8.2 yards long and is 19.68 inches wide~ ( 7.5 meters by 50cm wide) ~ I have tried to measure to the best of my abilities however it was difficult as it kept rolling back on itself! ~ This paper is in lovely condition, a few tiny flaws, but it is lovely and unused~*~ I have 4 more similar sized rolls that will be offered to the winning bidder~*~*~
