Vintage Zenith Olympic EM SLR with Helios Lens and Case

This Classic Vintage Zenith EM is in good cosmetic condition and although not checked with a processed film appears to be mechanically fully working.

This example is the special Olympic edition (with the Olympic Games logo on the Pentaprism housing).The camera its factory number 79166478.

Offered complete with the orginal leather ever-ready case and helios camera bag.

The light meter appears to respond to varying light levels, but is probably not very accurate due to the age of the selenium cells.

All shutter speeds seem to be working (30th to 500th second plus B) but the accuracy has not been checked.

Other features include a self timer, shutter lock and ASA (ISO) speeds of 25 to 500. There is also a co-axial socket with flash synch of 30th second. Film advance is by lever wind.

The orginal Helios lens is a 58mm F2.0 with manual and auto stop down mechanisms. The auto-diaphragm appear not to be working although this is almost certainly due to dried lubrication. The lens looks to be in good condition with no obvious evidence of fungus etc. The orginal lens cap is included.

Offered without any warranty due to the age of the camera, this is nevertheless a nice example and as well as being very collectable will probably still produce acceptable photo's.
