Covers the history of wrestling in Europe between in 19th century and early 20th century and gives short biographies of most well-known wrestlers of pre-1917 Russia as well as from other countries: Germany, Finland, Hungary etc. Georg Lurich, Georg Hackenschmidt, Aleksander Aberg, Juhan Tigane, Jaan Jaago and many others - they're all here! Illustrated with 95 photos of vintage wrestlers. Text is in Russian language.

Published in Russia, 1997. In very good condition, hardcover , 254 pages, size ca 150x210 mm. A great addition to every vintage wrestling collection!
