Vintage "Tonka"

Snorkel Unit 3-Burntwood Fire Dept'

A beauty for those interested in old Tonkas -approx 17ins long-"built to be played with & last"-although I don't think this one has had a great deal of use judging from its condition that is pretty good

There are just a few small areas of actual paint loss,amounting to possibly 1% to 2% plus some early signs of blistering to the top/flat sections that seem to have been curtailed-As far as I can tell all its decals/stickers are in place and are generally in good order -see photo No2-Of the 6No windows there is only a small hairline crack to the top of the windscreen,the rest are good-The double boom is good & works well,together the 2No sections measure approx 29ins -The cradle,the wheels etc are again all good-unfortunately the hose has been lost-the mounting clips for it can be seen on the side of the vehical in photo No1-easily replaced by a length of plastic or rubber tubing.
