A pretty vintage 1930s` welsh blanket from the swansea Valley. On undyed cream in a hopsack weave with pale blue & pink lines in an unusual rectangular pattern , bisected by a very fine gold band. Machined edges. Lovely and clean. it measures 80" x 62" so easily covers a double or would look great across the bottom of a double. in good condition , this octagenerian does have a couple of miniscule wear holes consistant with age. already in its eightieth year , this old welshman will last several more lifetimes with a little care.

It will keep you snug on the coldest of nights and cool in the summer. a great piece of Welsh textile & social history.
