    Offered for Sale is this Gernan-Made Korean War Era "Susis-Stativ" Collapsible Portable Camera Tripod with Original Box.  This was purchased in West Germany by my late father while he was stationed there during the Korean War.

    Collapsed, it measures about 10 5/8" in length.  Extended, it measures about 39" in height.  It weighs a scant 3/4 of a pound.  The top camera mount swivels and locks into position.  It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.  I don't believe it saw use past the 1950's.

   The box has issues; a flap is missing, there are tears, and there is wear along the edges.  You're not buying this for the box.  This is a vintage precision tripod that will serve well.
