Many modern guitars use cheap, thin, 'signal' cable for their interanl electrics and although it's quite adequate, the thinner the cable, the more it restricts the signal. So even though you are using a fantastic guitar cable, the chances are, your signal has been impared at the very start of it's journey.

The 'Old Fashioned' cloth covered wire used by the early guitar builders not only looks great, but the wire itself is a 22swg single core cable. This allows plenty of room to transport your precious signal from part to part as well as ensuring a strong 'mechanical' connection to the internal components once it gets there. 

 It's easy to use as you cut the cable to length, then just push the cloth back a little to expose the wire inside. No need for wire strippers! Just soldering iron and cutters!
