Vintage Silver Noah’s Ark Charm Opens to Enamel Animals N/R


A superb English fully dimensional Sterling silver vintage charm modelled as a miniature Noah’s Ark. Made by a master English craftsman with a pleasing eye for those little details – we can see - crisp and clearly four animal heads peeping out of the upper deck windows of the ark. A well-defined Noah is spread eagled at the bow. The hinge opens to reveal even more animals (some of them with their original enamel still present) sheltering cosily in the hull of the boat. A dove keeping watch for land is present on the tiled roof of this delightful Ark. It is all there - adding an edge to this miniature Noah’s Ark friendly character, alongside the touch of age that just can’t help but add a little more personality. This charm definitely tells a story.Weights in at a healthy: 2.6 grams.
Measurements: 5/8 inch long by 3/8 inch tall by ¼ inch wide approx when closed
Condition: good vintage condition. Hinge snaps closed perfectly. Some enamel loss...normal on a piece of this age.
Stamped sil for Sterling silver and quite vintage - coming from an English 1960s charm bracelet.
A beautifully detailed Noah’s Ark charm, NOT TO BE MISSED.
