An original French Stove from the Rosiéres foundry, this dedicated wood burning stove is the Sylvinet or No.5733, brother to the Sylvain.One of around 70 stoves that we currently have available for our next round of deliveries.

The Sylvinet is unusual in that it has independent air controls to each side which allows a high degree of controlability; particularly handy as the decorative lid of the stove hinges to reveal two hotplates, one on each side.

This stove is in excellent order with beautiful blue enamel, a much less commonly seen colour in this model and in this condition (complete with the external ash catcher that is so often missing), the brightwork is all original and also in excellent order. The stove has obviously been well looked after and the firebox is sound. The stove is shown before cleaning and overhaul and will be thoroughly prepared just before delivery.

Designed as a dedicated wood burner, this 1950s Sylvinet will burn wood and logs up to 33cms in length and further was designed to be continuous in use.
