Vintage Retro FIDELITY Portable RECORD PLAYER 33/45RPM

UK BUYERS ONLY AUCTION

IN A WORKING ORDER BUT SOLD FOR REPAIR OR SPARES 

 This portable Fidelity record player measures approximately 15 inches x 16 3/4 inches.  It plays 33rpm and 45rpm records.

A bit of wear to the casing but overall good condition.

The sound appears to be good and goes quite loud with a tone dial as well.

The central bar could probably do with some WD40 treatment as it gets a bit stuck.

The needle arm probably needs adjusting as the weight doesn't appear to play the record properly, when you put your finger on the head it goes through the record okay.  Please see the photos as it may have something to do with the spring which doesn't look right.

Don't know enough about the workings of these to sort it out ourselves so it is being sold for spares or repair but shouldn't take too much work to get it into order.  It should be checked by an electrician.

Ideal project for someone or for a dealer to restore.
