Wooden Handle, Grey Metal Needle and brass collar

Condition: This has a lovely handle which is quite small and would suit a child or someone with small hands.  However it does have a problem ..... the end of the needle is bent backwards!!!  In spite of this it is a very good tool, rather darkened but with a strong spring and good action.

Punch Needle

Brass needle with black plastic handle

This tool is threaded down its length with either wool or strips of fabric and punched into hessian held on a frame so that it leaves loops beneath. 

Condition: Very clean and generally bright
