Vintage Metzke 1977 Tin / Trinket Box

You are bidding on a vintage trinket box/tin by Metzke which is stamped with their name and also the date of 1977.   I do not know anything about Metzke or their pieces and am only selling due to lack of space.  It is in good enough condition for the age of it and there is a sticker on the bottom stating "Pewter will retain a soft patina finish, cleaned only with 00 gauge steel wool.  Designs by Metzke, Inc" from this it is obvious that the box itself is made from pewter and is easy enough to clean.  I am unsure what the picture on top is meant to be, it kinda looks like ballet shoes at the bottom and 3 large leaves at the top, but  cannot be sure, the lid itself can be fully removed/lifed off and is quite heavy.  As you can see from the picture below there is a little bit of rust on the inside of the lid, don't know if this can be fixed or removed and this is reflected in the low starting price of just 99p
