Vintage Postcard Horse Guards Whitehall Valentine's

This is a vintage postcard of the Lifeguards at Horse Guards, Whitehall.  I have listed the card at post 1945, but it may be earlier. Published by Valentine's serial 64226. Not postally used. No handwriting to back. IN excellent CONDITION

Once I have received cleared funds for item payment item will be despatched. I usually post MONDAY-FRIDAY and most of the time I aim to send ON DAY OF PURCHASE. All items are sent within 72 hours of cleared payment. I eBay message when item has been mailed. I always obtain proof of posting for all of my items whether they are being sent within the UK or Internationally. Delivery times are provided by the carrier, excluding weekends and bank holidays, and may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak periods. I PURCHASE MY POSTAGE FROM Paypal and the item will be mailed to the address of the Paypal account holder unless agreed otherwise. Whilst I AIM TO ACCURATELY PREDICT POSTAGE and PACKING COSTS, due to the postal system within the UK you may notice that the actual postage cost on the envelope maybe higher or lower than the amount you have paid. This will be because the packed item falls into a different weight and size band to one that I predicted due to ROYAL MAILS NEW LETTER/LARGE LETTER/PACKET postage policy.

I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS THAT GO ASTRAY, ARRIVE LATE OR THAT ARE DAMAGED IN THE POST. I AM VERY CAREFUL HOW I PACK MY ITEMS AND THEY LEAVE HERE IN “AS DESCRIPTION” CONDITION. Please be aware that if your item becomes lost in the post without insurance, the Royal Mail will only pay up to £36 compensation for any actual item, and won’t pay any postage costs whatsoever. In the event of making a claim the cost of the actual item is all that will be refunded. I will be happy to make a claim from the royal mail for you. If the item is damaged I will require it back WITH all original packaging so I may claim against Royal Mail. On Standard post Royal Mail will only refund the cost of the item (subject to upper limits) and will only refund postage costs when recorded/special delivery has been used .I suggest that RECORDED/SPECIAL delivery is used in preference to standard mail. If you are not willing to pay the additional recorded/special delivery/insurance then no postage refunds will be made. For UK buyers the cost is approximately an additional cost of 75p. For INTERNATIONAL buyers the cost is approximately an additional £4.00 These additional charges are the actual cost required by Royal Mail for these services. All buyers with ANY mailing package valued OVER £36 ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE ADDITIONAL INSURANCE COST. When the item cost is over £36 and you pay before you receive an invoice there will be no insurance and the risk is entirely yours.
