Vintage Mosrite "The Ventures Model" electric guitar in good used condition for being 40 some years old. Not exactly sure of year 63-65. Ser # is 3978. Dont see any other markings for date. I must say Guitars are not my forte so please ask any questions you may have. I took this to the local guitar shop and they checked it out. All electronics are working, they plugged it in and played a little with it. It is all original as far as they and my self can tell. Came from an estate of an elderly lady who was the original owner. I did not speak to her personally but to her daughter. It was her favorite. I was told she all ways loosened the strings when done playing as to not warp the neck. They where all loose when I got it, and are that way now again. It does have nicks to finish as well as cracking or crazing to black paint. Wammy bar is missing as well as the spring that goes under it. Also one of the two knobs is missing, but shaft it goes on is fine. These two parts may show up, Daughter is looking for them, and if they do I will ship with guitar. White plate has a slight bow to edge at top right next to neck. Chrome is in need of a good cleaning and does show its age. I do not see any kind of structural damage at all to this, no cracks or bent or loose parts. It really seems in good condition. Please ask any questions. I will answer to the best of my knowledge. Insurance is a must with this. Thanks
