Sorry about the scan--I had to get a dark background in order to get a good enough impression to read the printing; but it makes the opener look dark too. However, the opener is shiny steel.
Here is a different opener--made for drums. I'm not sure what kind of drums; but its a nice collectable conversation piece. It is in excellent condition without rust except for one or two tiny spots. The stamping in the metal is very deep and clear.
The stamping on the top sides reads, "Leverpak; DRUMS-'HARD TO BEAT' Trade Mark Reg US Pat. Off." Also to the left is "REMOVE COVER" and to the right is "OPEN LOCK". On the back side is stamped, "VAUGHAN U.S.A. PAT PENDING."
This is a large size opener, 6" long and 1 1/4" wide. It is made of shiny steel.
