Offering a few our quilts on "Buy It Now" again this week, but remember, once a bid is placed, it reverts to a regular style auction.
This is just such a beautiful quilt and fabulous for your cottage chic look! Let me say here too that my pictures have given a kind of pink cast to the background on this quilt, but it is stark white.
All cotton, this charming quilt is machine pieced, hand embroidered and entirely hand quilted. Backing is a light pink and a white, satin binding has been applied by machine. There is an extremely thin batting and hand quilting is done at 8 stitches per inch in some beautiful patterns as pictured.
Quilt measures a generous 97" x 82" and is shown on a queen size bed. I would estimate this quilt has been made within the past 40 years or so and I don't believe it has ever been used and has probably only been washed once or twice. I see a couple of broken embroidery threads and there is some extremely light storage yellowing in a couple of areas that was too light to show up on camera. I don't find any other problems. This quilt is crisp, clean and beautiful!
