About Us

Urban Village is a genuine UK based company who originally started as retail outlets selling a cool blend of 50s, 60s and 70s clothing, furniture, art work, and vintage records. After a successful 10 year period, I decided to move Urban Village in a new direction; internet sales via Ebay. Our reason for this was to take vintage to a larger audience and to spread the word that vintage is not only a cool fashion statement, but a great way to save the planet.

Payment

We accept payment by: Paypal, Postal Orders, Cheques in sterling only, Cash on collection. Payment is required within seven days of the auction closing.

Shipping

We send all our items via recorded delivery, this applies within the UK or abroad which gives us a tracking number. This means that all items must be signed for or picked up from your local sorting office if a signature has not been obtained. We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We charge a postage fee only to cover our costs of materials and labour. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as soon as possible. Please allow extra time if you are paying by cheque.
 
Please Note: If your item is returned to us due to the postal company not being able to deliver you item we will require a second postal fee to cover this.
If you buy more that one item from us we will automatically give discount on postage where possible. We also allow pick up from our Birmingham warehouse on all items.

We warrantee and represent that the goods are as described in the above listing. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Customers should satisfy themselves that any item choice made is suitable for their intended purpose or use. We pride ourselves on our customer service. Returns

All our items unless stated are pre-worn, pre-washed and may show signs of age, this is natural with vintage clothing. We tried very hard to describe any item sold to the best of our ability. Any damage will be stated within the description. If you receive an item which not as described please contact us upon receipt of your goods and we will do our utmost to resolve the problem. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded. It is the customers responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost.
