For auction is a vintage egg cup featuring Sooty the bear puppet. Sooty and Sweep were characters from a propular British puppet show in the 1950's. Here he stands in his shin guards with a cricket bat and wicket in the background. The cup has no chips or cracks, but the color on the bear has largely flaked off. No marks or signatures. Stands 2 1/4 inches high and 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the top. Great for an egg cup collector or someone with happy childhood memories of the puppet.
