Item Description:   This auction is for the Two Vintage Glass Canning Jars pictured and described below. These are great collectible Canning Jars with No Reserve !!

The First Jar is a Crown Jar - Made in Canada . This is a quart sized jar measuring approximately 7" tall. The jar features a " Crown " on both the jar , and on the glass lid. There is a date of 1942 on the bottom as well as a #2. Glass is in excellent condition with no scratches. The rim is very slightly rough, in a couple of spots but appears to be in excellent shape. The glass lid has 1953 embossed on the inside and a #27 on the outside. Screws on and off with ease.

The Second jar is the Mason's Jar with a patent date of Nov. 30, 1858. This jar has a Maltese Cross Emblem near the top of the jar. The Rim of this jar is rough as though it was grinded . The bottom of the jar has a date of Nov 26, 67 as well as  a number in the center that is difficult to make out. I am guessing it is # 162. There are several bubbles in the glass, no scratches except on the rim of the base. Ball cap screws on & off with ease. This is a quart sized jar measuring approximately 7" tall.
