~ Antique posser or washing dolly with tall wooden post and handle ~

~ The base on this one is larger than the usual possers and matt black in colour. It could well have been for industrial use rather than home as it also has engraving on the metal shaft and a serial number. It looks like it reads 'THE SPE??Y REAR DESIGN' Serial No.648363 with FF or FP in a circle underneath. It has the usual few bumps and dents which have accumilated over the years and adds to it's wonderful vintage charm ~

~ Originally used for washing clothes by turing them in the tub but nowadays highly collectable for holding toilet rolls and towells in the bathroom or equally great as a necklace holder in your bedroom ~

~ Measures 82cm tall, base diameter 22cm ~
