You are bidding on a vintage 'Michelin Man' Statuette, I bought this item approx fifteen (or so) years ago in LASSCO, (architectural antique dealers, London), I believe that the statue itself to be made of solid pewter, the base appears to be solid marble, the figure sits loosely on the base supported by a small metal pin drilled into the marble.  From the base to the top of Bib's head measures just over 11cm, the base is 9cm in diameter.  This really is a delightful object and has aged beautifully.
