  This is a mid 1970's BearCat III, Electra, 8 channel scanner. This unit is in good working order, it can be used in your home or mounted in your vehicle. This unit scans all 8 channels perfectly and the squelch and volume work as then should. The antenna at onetime had a gromet to hold it in place, due to that missing, the antenna does move around a little, but is still connected and works fine, it does extend and retract like it should. There is a jack for en external speaker and a place to plug in an external antenna.
