Vintage Bang & Olufsen Beogram 4004 Tangential Turntable
complete with MMC-20EN Stylus in Lovely Condition

Here is a superb example of a rare and classic B&O 4004 Beogram tangential turntable. The 4004 is a fantastic looking deck was the follow on to the 4000 and 4002. Now becoming very rare and highly sought after these decks are without doubt the best looking turntables B&O ever made and have a reputation for being extremely reliable and accurate. They are a highly engineered piece of machinery and as you look around it you can see just how much work went into the manufacture of these decks. This example is in very good condition and only marred by a couple of very minor details. There is a tiny nick on the platter edge and a couple of very light marks on the lid. Importantly it is in excellent working condition. The tracking drive belt has been replaced with a new one. Lubrication has been carried out on all the essential pivot points for the arm mechanism and the tantial capacitors renewed where necessary (they do leak after nearly 40 years). The MMC-20EN cartridge is in excellent condition and sounds wonderful. I do pack and post securely but these are fragile units and if possible collection or a mutual meeting to take possession is preferred. (Please call 07970 932727 for details).
