Album of Lucknow Guide containing 24 views with a brief history of each building.

Published by Lal Chand & Sons, Views photographers of Delhi, India.

No date but believed to have been brought back after WW2.

Booklet size 7.5" x 4.5" in paper covers.

Contains a brief historical introduction and a page of information on the Kings of Oudh 1739-1856

Rest of the book taken up with the photographs (one per page) of Lucknow which include:-

The great Imambara Mosque.

Residency, Lucknow

Dilkusha Palace (photo rather faded)

Husainabad Bazar Gate

Council Chamber (bit faded)

The Jama Masjid

Last King Palace

and more.

The covers of the booklet are slightly faded on the edges with small tears on the spine and on the top of the front cover.

Inside the page edges are very slightly browned otherwise in good condition.
