This is a lovely and unusual vase from the renowned Adams company of Tunstall.
The vase measures 7.5cm in height with a diameter of 10cm. It is decorated with a white frieze in relief on a deep blue background. It shows Two horses standing near a fence while the huntsman has dismounted to call the hounds off the prey they have just caught.
The base is fully marked with an impressed Adams Est 1657 Tunstall England. The vase is in very good condition with no damage or restoration though some of the white is a little discoloured.
