This auction is for a pair of rare Goodmans Achromat Kappa Leather-Bound Wood-Trimmed Loudspeaker Cabinets

The cabinets come with the original foam damping panels and fleece wadding, but the grilles and electrical components (drivers, crossovers, wiring) have been removed (please see my other auctions).

These gorgeous leather-bound cabinets, edged with real wood trim with interlocking (jigsaw) corner buttings, are in very good condition for their age with no significant tears or scratches, and would be absolutely stunning after an application of Leather Balsam and Beeswax Wood Polish (having applied this to my own pair of Kappas I can vouch that the transformation was remarkable!).

Complimenting their unusually luxurious visual appearance, the cabinets are also of high build quality featuring rigid internal bracing and dense damping material which, in combination with the external leather cladding, keeps resonance to a minimum.

This is the ideal opportunity for those either wishing to refurbish their existing Achromat Kappas, construct a 2nd pair, or even build their very own DIY two-way sealed-enclosure loudspeaker system.
