This is a vintage 1960's basic black dress which will take you from work to cocktails in great style. Some of the features of this dress are: a beautiful boat neckline (great for necklaces), a deeper back, little longer than 3/4 length sleeves with little zippers at the wrist, a fitted waist and bodice, slight pleating at the front sides, a slightly bell skirt, a back metal zipper, and I believe the fabric is a wool or awool blend (but not 100% positive).
Some of the photos have been lightened to show more of the details. I cannot detect any flaws in the dress. The dress is lined and the lining of the skirt is not in perfect shape. At the bottom there is a little bit of it torn off and in one area the hem came loose.

Please remember, vintage clothing doesn't always look brand new (like at the local mall) and they are sometimes decades old. Fabrics thin out and fibers break down after 70+ years.
