Vintage paper sewing pattern from 1967.
Simplicity pattern number 7319. To sew: "Misses' and Women's Dress in Two Lengths and Jacket: the collarless princess-line dress has slightly lowered round neckline and back zipper. Sleevless, ankle-length V.1 with slit in centre back seam has sequin banding trim. Regular-length V.2 has short set-in sleeves. The lined, princess-line jacket has below elbow length raglan sleeves, stand-up collar and front button closing. V.1 has sequin banding trim." To fit a VINTAGE size 14 - Bust 34, Waist 26 and Hips 36 inches (about a UK size 10 by today's standards). This printed pattern contains all of its correct pattern pieces (16 pieces) and its instruction sheet. The USED pieces are in good re-usable condition, except that the sleeve piece has been enlarged with tissue paper that has been taped in place. The jacket pieces are uncut. The envelope is worn, creased and discoloured with a large tear to the front and to the back. The MOST amount of fabric that you will need to make the dress and jacket together is 5.75 yards (you may need less depending on the width of your fabric and the style you pick). Suggested fabrics - cottons and blends; novelty pique, bonded lace. Linen. Silks, synthetics and blends; matelasse, brocade, ottoman, matallic brocades, crepe, faille. Satin, velvet, gabardine, wools and blends, double knits. Please see the pictures below. Anything else you need to know? Feel free to ask! :) Thank you for viewing!! Please take a look at my other vintage sewing patterns. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vintage Patterns: I check all patterns for all their correct pieces and most I sell are complete. I may sell a pattern missing a piece such as a neck facing, belt, bow or pocket - pieces that are easy to replace. I will always mention is the listing if there is a missing piece. All patterns will include their instruction sheet unless otherwise mentioned in the description. Most patterns will be used - you will find pin holes in the pattern pieces, and you may find some small tears, taped repairs, pinned alterations or writing. Vintage patterns can be printed or non-printed (I will say whether a pattern is printed or not in the description). All modern patterns are printed with their pattern piece names and/or numbers, the pattern’s make and number, the cutting and stitching lines and sewing symbols such as straight grains, notches and dots etc. But some vintage patterns can be unprinted. Unprinted patterns have holes perforated/punched into the paper pattern piece for the sewing symbols and pattern numbers. If you are a beginner you may find a printed pattern easier to start with. Another difference between modern and vintage patterns is that modern patterns have lots of their pieces printed together on a very large sheet of tissue paper, whereas vintage patterns pieces are mostly printed separately (with the occasional exception of small pieces such as facings). You may find pencil notations that I have made on the back of the pattern. This is to let me know if a pattern is complete or not. I write as light as possible so you can erase it later. My scanner or the flash of my camera may have bleached the colour of a pattern envelope a bit in the picture. If I say in my description that a pattern envelope is discoloured it may arrive looking a bit more yellowed you than expect. Please keep that in mind. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Payment within 10 days please. If you can’t make that please let me know - I don’t mind waiting longer if I know about it. I’m afraid I do file non-paying bidder complaints with eBay on the 10th day if there has been no payment or no communication. UK buyers - I prefer cheques or postal orders, but gladly accept PayPal too. Payments made via PayPal eCheque MUST clear before the dispatch of your item, and please bear in mind that these can take 10 - 14 days to clear. International Buyers: PayPal ONLY, I’m sorry. Overseas buyers please wait for me to send you an invoice before you pay. Postage Prices: UK prices are shown on the ‘P&P and payment’ page. I always gladly combine postage too. If you purchase a number of items please wait for me to send you an invoice before paying because eBay will automatically charge too much. Postage to Europe is £2 for 1 pattern, and 50p per additional pattern. Postage to the rest of the world (including the USA and Australia) is £2.50 for 1 pattern and 50p per additional pattern. OR, if you purchase a few patterns I will weigh them all together and check the price online. AGAIN, overseas buyers please wait for me to send you an invoice before you pay. International insurance, if required, is an extra £3.70 for a value up to £30, and rises to £5.90 for a value over £30.
Returns: I gladly accept returns if you are at all unhappy. If you want to return your item please let me know immediately, and return the item within 5 working days. I will refund you LESS postage when I receive the item safely back. Buyer is responsible for the return postage cost. Dispatch Time: Unfortunately I cannot get to a Post Office every day. I can usually only post twice a week (most weeks this will be Monday and Thursday). It never takes me longer than 5 working days to post an item. When you fill in the feedback stars please be aware that if you pick 1 or 2 stars it means you feel that 5 working days is an unreasonable amount of time to wait. Is 5 working days really too long? I always post an item at the very first opportunity that I get. Insurance: If you require insurance and a tracking number (I highly recommend this!!) please pick the ‘Recorded Delivery’ or ’Special Delivery’ option. Although, if you do not pick a tracked option I do ALWAYS obtain Proof of Postage. Feedback: If you love your item please be generous with your feedback stars! EBay penalises sellers who get too many low scoring stars and may stop a seller selling all together. I try my best to gain 5 stars, but if you are at all unhappy or feel that I don’t deserve 5 stars for any reason, please let me know why, and help me to improve - I’ll be very grateful. Please allow me at least 24 hours to reply to any questions. Sorry there’s so much to read, but thank you if you’ve read it all. Please contact me if you have any questions, and thank you again for viewing my listing!!
