Vinamold is a re-useable hot melt compound that with the correct machinery can be re-melted up to 10 times. If you do not have an oil jacket melting pot then you will need a hot plate and a double wall metal vessel (or a heavy gauge pan) capable of withstanding 200 degrees. Some people have managed to successfulkly melt Vinamold in the microwave, this is very dangerous and should not be attempted by a novice. We have been supplying Vinamold to end users for 8 years and know the product very well! Vinamold is available in 4 grades available in the following colours: Red - Soft - Most popular grade of the product and our best seller Blue - Medium - Firmer version of Red and our second best seller Yellow - Hard - Best for casting items with little or no undercut THIS AUCTION White - Soft - A chemically resistant version of Red THIS AUCTION It can be used by modellers and plasterers alike to reproduce items again and again in plaster, mortar and casting resin. If using polyester resins with the product you should ensure the exothermic level is low enough not to melt your mould, unlikely but we have heard of it with cheaper over catalysed blended resins! When the product is fully molten simply pour over your item or former to produce a quality mould. Note: The item should be sealed to achieve the best result.
