A Victorian Brass Pocket Balnce and Wooden Light Switch. The balance measures 20cm in total - from the top of the ring to the bottom of the hook. The hook, ring and the back of the scales are painted in white paint. The scales have a brass front, they read " POCKET BALANCE, MADE IN GERMANY" - the scales range from 0-25 pounds, in 2 pound measurements - apart from the last weight which jumps from 22lb - 25lb. The balance is in general used condition - the balance still works  - the spring is still tightly coiled - although I do not know how accurate they would now be!

The second object is what I believe to be a Victorian/Edwardian wooden light switch. It is made out of turned stained wood, with a small wooden knob to the base - which pushes in slightly, and some kind of wooden fiting to the top  - with old wires poking out of the top. This switch is in poor condition, with damage to all parts - possibly a small restoration project!
