Victorian Officers Brass plaque engraved H.C.Stephen 5th Fusiliers

Plaque is 7.8cm x 4.6cm and 2mm thick with 2 screwthreads in rear.I assume this was bolted to Officers trunk?

Nicely engraved -on close inspection you can see the many thin straight lines that make up the single bold stroke of the letter.Rear of plate has 300 and 9965 cast in it.As you would expect from item 120+ years old it has a little wear and scratches but I dont think it is a problem.
