is an old scottish mahogany Chest of Drawers dating to the
victorian period of the 19th century.
Made of Mahogany, this large chest of drawers stands on tall turned
legs supporting an upright heavy chest of 1 breakfront hidden
cushion drawer above 3 deep graduating drawers
beneath. The drawers all have original knob handles and are flanked by
turned corinthium columns. The drawers all
retain their original linings and are of hand made dovetail
construction. .The thick flared chest top completes the piece. Original
back panels in place
Of very solid condition the chest of drawers is offered in a good
condition commensurate for age. The item is old so do not expect it be
'as new'. Free from worm and solid in joint ready to use. Polished and
ready to use bearing old polished in use/wear marks to chest top
(see photo)
