Description:
This is a fabulous Victorian copper, brass and oak bed warming pan.  The pan has a hand planished copper bowl and rivetted lid with a circular brass handle.  The pan has a brass shank which holds the turned oak handle in place.  A lovely piece of Victorian kitchenalia and very decorative item for a fireplace, inglenook or country farmhouse kitchen.

Date:
The warming pan dates circa 1880 - 1900.

Condition:
The copper bowl has dings and dents consistent with age, the hinged lid being a little loose.  The handle has had a replacement screw to hold it in place, this being a little loose, having one or two small cracks in the oak itself, these of little consequence only adding to character and authenticity.

Depth of pan including the lid: 3.5 inches (8.8cm)
Maximum length of pan and handle: 39 inches (99cm)
