On offer here is a fabulous solid oak dressing table chest dating to
the arts & crafts period of the victorian period of the 19th
century.
Standing on a wonderful turned, tall tapering legs with pad
feet. Surmounted above is a fitted frieze frame having single wide
drawer to centre, serpentine carved apron beneath. Original copper
handles to the drawer front with solid oak lined drawer being dovetail
constructed. Surmounted above is a flared edge dressing table top
having a stage gallery back with small shelf and open storage area
underneath the swing mirror above. Finished with a wonderful oak frame
housing the swing mirror having overhanging toprail above
Condition
Offered in a very good, solid condition commensurate with
age. This item is old so please do not expect it to be as new. Free of
worm, solid in joint with one small corner of the shelf area
missing (see photo). Polished and ready to use
