23" long x 7.5" max width is this Solid Oak Wall Barometer thats been through 2 Worlds Wars and was a casualty of WW2..

The case has an amazing rich patination with the working Barometer being 5.75" wide across the brass bezel..It also has a rare  Porcelain dial which is in excellent condition..

This is in need of some tlc but is very worthy of the work being carried out..

During WW2 this was hanging in a London home when a bomb dropped nearby causing it to fall front the wall. The front glass cracked and the boxed Mercury Thermometer shattered and was unfortunately discarded, the barometer was then put up in the loft and forgotten about until recently when the property was being emptied..

As you can see from the pictures the case is hand carved with ornate decorations and undamaged..
