Description:
This is a fabulous late 19th Century Victorian Imperial Quart beer ale tankard.  The tankard stands on a circular foot, above which is the beautifully shaped body with a reeded collar.  The tankard has an elaborate "S" scroll handle with thumb and finger rests.  The tankard bears no touchmarks, however is engraved "AC" to the front and bears an engraving to the base "A? Cooper" (see photos).  A beautiful large heavy quality tankard from the Victorian period.

The tankard dates circa 1890.

Condition:
The tankard is in good original condition, having minor marks with a beautiful patina only achieved with age.  There are no old repairs, however the body of the tankard is very slightly misshapen where the top of the handle is secured to the body - this of very little significance, but worth mentioning.
