This is an incredibly striking and unusual antique large plate with flow blue transfer decoration of birds, insects and flowers.
Marked with the George Jones backstamp, printed and impressed. Additionally it carries the registration diamond which dates this plate to the 21st January 1874.
The condition of this is outstanding for the age being free from chips, cracks and restoration.
There is some very fine crazing and some very light surface scratches from use but really for such a beautiful piece of 133 years old pretty minor.

This large plate represents one variation of the birds and botanical themed design on the twelve large dinner plates I have listed in my Ebay shop and live auction.
The plates are from the same service but with slight variations on the flowers and birds used.
There are three variations in the large plates and I have three perfect plus one with slight foxing of this particular variant available.
This auction is for one single large plate from the four mentioned and is described as perfect.
