This is a very unusual item in the form of a mechanical singing bird automaton in a brass cage.When you wind it up underneath it plays a bird song and the lifelike bird opens and shuts its beak and moves its tail up and down.It stands aprox 14 inches high including hanging loop and about 7 inches in diameter.
