Very Large Burleigh Ware Art Deco Kingfisher Bird Jug








This is a Burleigh Ware Relief Moulded Kingfisher Jug.

Originally moulded in 1931, Model No 5315 as part of the Hunters' and Prey Series, Kingfisher and Fish.

The jug has a hand painted Kingfisher in blue, black and red onto a yellow ground with green painted dashes to the rim.

A large and impressive piece being approximately 10" tall and 9" wide

In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, there is some very minor paint loss to the odd area commensurate with age.
