'VERLYS' FRANCE OPALESCENT 'DUCK' ASHTRAY.

In the 1920's and 1930's, French glassmakers shared the 16th Century Venetian fascination with opalescent glass and used it to produce moulded luxury glass in the Art-Deco style. The Verrerie d'Andelys, set up in the 1920's by the American Holophane Co. to produce Verlys Art Glass, sought a share of this market.

This is a stunning little example.

Embossed on Base 'Verlys France'.

width: 15 x 10cms, height: 11cms, weight 450gms.

THIS ITEM IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (has some age wear to base).

POSTAGE: Postage has currently gone through the roof in terms of price with it being predominately based on 'Volume' as opposed to actual 'weight'.
