Venosa art painting poster surreal enlightenment

Robert Venosa was born in New York City and traveled to study with European visionary master painters in the late 60s. He studied under Ernst Fuchs and Mati Klarwein, considered by many to be among to greatest painters in the past century. Under the tutelage of Mati Klarwein, Venosa learned to paint the fantastic with incredible detail as their New York City loft was visited by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Jackie Kennedy and Dr. Timothy Leary. He moved to Europe where he lived near Salvadore Dali, who became a friend and had this to say of Venosa's work: "Bravo Venosa! Dali is pleased to see spiritual madness painted with such a fine technique." His work has been seen around the world and is kept in the private collections of many from rock stars to the aristocracy; his work has adorned the CD covers of Santana and Kitaro. Robert Venosa is truly a master of the craft with undeniable genius.
