An unusual name that may well have come from the reddish streaks suggesting a lady that has had too much to drink! Large bicoloured red and green leaves. Great flavour 

Sow from April onwards in modules ready to plant out from late spring onwards. Spacing at 35cm a part. Sow small quantities of seed at intervals to get a continuous harvest

We often plant lettuce under the runner beans and harvest them before the bean foliage gets too thick. A great space saver.
