As used with the Revox B77 reel-to-reel Tape Recorder
This is a wired desk top accessory which plugs into the dedicated socket to rear of the B77 [see photo] with its own cable
This allows you to vary the capstan speed of the recorder by up to about plus or minus 5%
It is in very good condition and works perfectly with my B77 [see my other listings]
