This unstable mind, during his "asylum years", helped him create some of the most incredible works of fine art ever produced, including: "Cafe at Night"(1888), "Starry Night"(1889), "Field of Wheat with Cypresses"(1889), "Irises in Vase"(1890) - but also led to his tragic suicide at the age of 37. Van Gogh's work remains some of the most exceptional ever produced by one artist. Vincent Van Gogh is considered an impressionist painter. Which consists of using wide brush strokes and creative uses of light in his paintings. In his painting, he uses pure, bright colors and contrasting color combinations. His works are so special and he like to experiment with different styles, and palettes to suit the impression of each painting. The influence of his innovative work can be found in the expressionism, fauvism, early abstract paintings and many other twentieth century art styles.
