SINCE I HAD THE CAR BACK I NOTICED INTERMETANTLY THAT THERE WAS A SLIGHT KNOCKING FROM THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL.FIRST I NOTICED THE DIRECTIONAL TYRE WAS THE WRONG WAY ROUND SO HAD IT CHANGED WHICH IMPROVED THE NOISE.I THEN HAD BOTH WHEEL BEARING CHECKED AND TIGHTENED AND THEN IT DID IT AGAIN AND SO GOT IT LOOKED AT AS WOULDNT WANT TO SELL A DANGEROUS CAR.IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE SHOCKER WAS SHOT TO BITS AND THE OTHER SIDE HAD A THREADED NUT SO I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO REPLACE BOTH THE REAR SHOCKS WITH BOGE GAS STRUTS WHICH WERE NOT CHEAP.
THE MECHANIC ALSO NOTICED A SPLIT AIR PIPE WILL WAS CAUSING SLIGHT IDLE SURGE HE SAID SO HAD THAT REPAIRED ALSO AND AM TOLD IS A LOT CRISPER AND QUICKER!!! THIS COST TO ME DOESNT AFFECT THE RESERVE PRICE JUST GRABS YOU A BETTER BARGAIN.ALL AND ALL THIS VR6 HAS HAD A THOUSAND POUNDS SPENT ON IT SINCE THE NEW YEAR SO THE NEXT OWNER WILL HAVE I PREDICT A TROUBLE FREE YEAR.IM HAPPY TO KEEP IF IT DOESNT SELL AS GREAT FUN AND IT ROARS WHEN DRIVEN WELL,YOU JUST KNOW ITS A VR6!!
