Original VW Solex 26-VFIS Carburettor for 25bhp 1131cc Split Window Beetle and Barndoor Bus engines. This type of carburettor was used between 1948 and 1953.

This one was taken off a Split Window Beetle many years ago and is complete except for the main jet carrier and air by-pass screw (I think! See pictures). Ideal for rebuilding. These early Solex carburettors are getting very hard to find now.
